Together they were able to raise over $10K for one of Australia's most well-loved fundraising campaigns, the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave.
Short manes, long mops and even a beard were sacrificed as part of the amazing cause, as barbers Brady and Oliver from Monks & Co generously gave up their time and expertise with clippers in hand. One of the biggest moments of the night came when Ash Boys, best known for his tightly crafted man bun, lost the lot after six years of growing it out.
The funds raised from the lads losing their luscious locks will give families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need.
More than 100 people turned out for event held at Room for a Pony, with the donations pouring in post-run as the thick beats of local artist DJ Sexy Lucy got punters in the mood. A special shout out to a very generous $1100 contribution from a Knockoffs OG (you know who you are!) to get the tally across the magical $10K mark.
Thanks to supporters mentioned above as well as Lululemon, and to all of those who dug deep into their pockets. Make no mistake - the money raised through World's Greatest Shave is life-changing!
